I, for one, am happy that Atkins has filed for bankruptcy.
A dear friend of mine, a model, committed suicide after accidentally
consuming a noodle. When she learned that macaroni were also considered
"carbs" (she thought spaghetti was the only pasta), she polished off a
bottle of Xanax and overdosed.
It's time for people to stop
succumbing to fad diets. Here's what you need to know: a healthy diet
is all about balance and moderation, not guilt and despair. I try and
maintain this balance.
Take yesterday, for example. For
breakfast I ate scrambled egg whites with sliced tomato. For lunch I
ate a spinach salad and had a glass of sparkling water with a lemon
wedge. And for dinner I ate a baby. Now, it's not like the baby was
wrapped in bacon or anything. It wasn't. In fact, it was grilled. And
tomorrow I will spend an extra thirty minutes at the gym to work it off.
Am I going to freak out about the amount of food I ate, or about how fattening baby fat is? No. And you shouldn't either.

I really don't know what to say, Laura. It is wrong to eat babies. How about if I start with that? I know you think you're being funny or shocking or whatever it is you think you're doing but land sakes!!! Now, I myself will confess to playing little piggy and "Pretending" to eat a baby when the last little piggy runs all the way home, but Good God, Laura... and I can't stress this soundly enough... YOU DON'T ACTUALLY EAT THE BABY!!!

Weezy, I don't think you quite get it.... BABIES ARE DELICIOUS. The younger, the better. Eating is good for you, and you need carbs or your kidneys will not like you.
But seriously, I heard it really doesn't matter what you eat, but when. Apparently, eating many small meals everyday is better than 3 large meals because it keeps your metabolism up. Another way to boost your metabolism is to have a plant in your bedroom as the fresh oxygen you get while sleeping does your body immense good, Oh and for those who might not have known, metabolism is the chemical process of breaking down substances for energy, so its very important in a weight-loss diet. Well, thanks for joining me in "Health Advice with a 16 y/o Dork." WEEZY AND THE SWISH RULES! -Nick Re: Re: Blogging from The Swish - Atkins Shmatkins

Thank you, Nick. I didn't know the part about having a plant in my room. I would have to know the plant pretty well before I let it sleep in my room. I hope that's OK with the plant. I don't let every plant I meet into my bedroom to share its oxygen with me. It has to be special.

lol, don't give kids the wrong idea. Animals breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide, animals cannot breathe carbon dioxide, but plants convert carbon dioxide into oxygen in photosynthesis; its fair exchange. So, having a plant in your room may lead to you walking up with the plant in question watching you while you're sleeping, but that heavy breathing its doing is really very good for you... Except that plants can't breathe heavily, so that must be the creepy guy who lives in your closet, and again, I'm sorry I was in your closet... Its just so comfy in there...
Seriously though, I'd like to thank 7th grade science for that info and I got the tips on metabolism from the best of Maxim '04... Also, I hope you don't think I'm insulting your intelligence by posting that explanation, but for anyone who happens to be interested into that sort of thing, there you go... See? Learning is fun. Again, I love the show. Love (in a completely non-weird way), -Nick Trackbacks
