Hey, The Swish, I'm commenting on your blog. Concerning your question about Phil Spector's hair... I had a snappy retort regarding same tonight at The Home Brew Coffee in San Dimas. As you, a fellow comedian, well know, when performing comedy at coffee establishments it is often challenging to be heard over the mind numbing whir that fills the room when a customer orders up an icy blended. It is especially tricky to blend, if you will, that racket into the context of one's set... so... what was I talking about? Oh, yeah, I was about to brag. yes, what happened was that just as someone was asking me, "Hey, what is up with Phil Spector's hair?" the scream of the blending machine shatters the air. I'm still as we collectively listen to the roar. I wait for a beat of silence and then say, "That's the device Phil uses on his hair." Screams of laughter ensue and someone enjoys a frothy beverage.
